Sisters to Write History of Suggs Pottery
Two sisters, descendants of the founders of Suggs Pottery, plan to write a history of the family business. The pottery on Jug Shop Road near the Monroe-Itawamba county line was founded in the early 1900s.

Hello I am very interested in the Suggs pottery and have been trying to locate more info. I've been searching on and off for maybe a year. I have a wonderful pot with Suggs scratched in the side near the base. The scratched in decoration is a willow tree which make me think it's a mourning pot or vase. Are you one of the sisters?
No. I'm not one of the sisters. Every now and then, there are pieces available on eBay I'm told by northeast Mississippi collectors.
